Filson & Rohrbacher - Friday, July 24th

Filson & Rohrbacher opens at the Bantam Tools Machine Arts Gallery
this Friday, July 24, from 6 to 8 PM.

Anne Filson and Gary Rohrbacher are artists and professors at the University of Kentucky working at the intersection of architecture, design, and digital fabrication. Together, they explore how computational processes, robotic precision, and hands-on making can be transformed into physical objects with texture, materiality, and human character.

The exhibition presents a new collection of tool path plots and machined waxworks. Tool path plots turn the programmed movements normally used to guide digital fabrication machines into drawings of their own. Rather than hiding the instructions behind the finished object, these works make the machine’s routes, repetitions, overlaps, and decisions visible on the page.

Join us for the opening, see the work, meet the artists, and enjoy free slushies.
