Bantam Tools Launches Bantam Tools ArtFrame Panorama™ Pen Plotter: A Monumental Leap in Machine-Made Fine Art

Peekskill, NY — Bantam Tools proudly unveils the latest addition to its professional art machine lineup: the Bantam Tools ArtFrame Panorama™ Pen Plotter, a museum-scale machine built for professional artists pushing the boundaries of size, expression, and precision.

Following the success of the 1824 and 2436 ArtFrame models, the new Bantam Tools ArtFrame Panorama™ expands the creative field to a massive 24x72 inches, more than doubling the work area of previous models. Built with custom-engineered cable guide rails, reinforced gantry architecture, and whisper-quiet motion control, the Panorama is purpose-built for producing panoramic artworks, exhibition pieces, and large-format visual storytelling.

“With the ArtFrame Panorama, artists can now plot, draw, paint, and mark-make at a scale previously reserved for murals or printing presses, This is the machine we’ve always wanted to build, a tool for artists creating pieces destined for gallery and museum walls.”

Bre Pettis, CEO of Bantam Tools.

Like its predecessors, the Bantam Tools ArtFrame Panorama™ supports traditional materials including pens, brushes, charcoal, and oil sticks on archival surfaces such as canvas and paper. The system’s configurable pressure toolhead accommodates delicate media and bold gestures alike, allowing artists to maintain consistent mark quality across large surfaces.

The ArtFrame Panorama isn’t just about size, it’s about unlocking scale without sacrificing fidelity.

“This machine was developed to support artists like James Merrill, who used it to produce sweeping, generative compositions that capture both algorithmic beauty and human emotion,”

said Windell Oskay, CTO of Bantam Tools.

Every Bantam Tools ArtFrame™ is proudly designed and manufactured in Peekskill, New York, and includes Bantam Tools Studio™ software for seamless SVG to G-code conversion, as well as standalone operation via microSD card.

Whether you're plotting a six-foot drawing or creating an installation piece, the ArtFrame Panorama redefines what's possible for professional artists working at the intersection of code and craft.

BUSIEST

James Merrill x ArtBlocks

For his latest series BUSIEST, generative artist James Merrill used the Bantam Tools ArtFrame™Panorama to render intricate compositions inspired by city systems and sensory overload. Working from his Vermont studio, Merrill transforms urban chaos into structured visual poetry, layered scenes that reveal hidden patterns beneath the noise. Using code and the Bantam Tools ArtFrame™Panorama, he invites viewers to step back and see the order behind the overwhelm.

Whitney Museum of American Art

The Bantam Tools ArtFrame™ was born out of a landmark exhibition of the late Harold Cohen’s work in February 2024. Designed to meet the standards of institutions like the Whitney, it's the solution for artists whose work belongs on the walls of serious collections.
