Our latest exhibition, Downloaded To The Wall, explores the evolving landscape of internet-distributed generative art, with a focus on works that are not only digital, but physical too. The show brings together artists and projects from three groundbreaking platforms: Art Blocks, fxhash, and Plottables.io.
Each of these platforms approaches generative art in a unique way, but they share a common thread: artists publish code, collectors mint unique outputs, and now, thanks to our plotters, these digital artworks can step off the screen and onto the wall.
Art Blocks helped pioneer the model of on-chain generative art and remains a leader in curating high-quality work. fxhash opened the door to a wider range of creators, quickly becoming a hub for experimental and open generative practices. Plottables.io focuses specifically on vector-based, plotter-ready artwork — a natural fit for our machines and our gallery.
All of the works in this exhibition were rendered on Bantam Tools Art Machines using fountain pens, technical markers, and other physical drawing tools. We’re excited to share how this emerging hybrid practice is reshaping both the aesthetics and the distribution of contemporary generative art.
Come see how code becomes ink.
