Our October Project Night Was a Blast

You know what they say: A team that mills together has fun together! Here at Bantam Tools, we not only put pride and passion in every precise, reliable Bantam Tools Desktop PCB Milling Machine we make, but we enjoy ourselves in the process. We're fortunate to have a wonderful team, and we host regular Project Nights where we can hang out in the workshop and, well, make projects. We recently hosted one at our Berkeley, California headquarters. Here are some snapshots.

Pictured above is our manufacturing technician Jeff L. flashing his signature smile while engraving a custom tag for his fiancee Rei using our dog tag tutorial

Technical manager Devin C. used this simple technique to employ SVG files to mill a custom key holder out of a luggage tag. Devin had seen a similar product but wanted to customize a more streamlined version. The design is like a switchblade but for keys. Success!

Meanwhile, our mechanical engineer Matt L. engraved the logo for Terrain, his company that makes miniature, palm-sized versions of beloved ski areas.

Assembly technician Kim D. created this design for "limousine mouse" in Fusion 360 and used it to mill out a stamp. Now limousine mouse can now go everywhere!

Electrical engineer Matt S. engraved his autograph on a luggage tag. Instantly famous! And of course Bantam Tools shop dog Penny was not about to get left out of the action. She was on-hand for aesthetic guidance, a solid second opinion, and treats.
